ONLY 1:84 SCALE INCLUDES BRASS ROD
This set no longer includes the brass rod for the hand rails in all scales except 1:84. This is so you can choose to buy this for your chosen scale. So I have reduced the selling price for the relevant scales. If you buy the 1:84 scale version, this will include some 1mm brass rod.
ASSEMBLY
Some scratch building is required using the supplied parts. The base has square holes for the posts to slot in. Each post has 1.1mm holes so that the bannisters (1mm brass rod) can easily be pushed through into position. Then a spot of superglue will hold it in place. Although this is easy to do, the resin posts are very fragile and should be handled with care. I recommend creating a flat top and bottom of the brass rod by filing it.
These 3D resin printed parts are made to order. They simply need painting and assembling. They must be painted in water based/acrylic paints. Prior to this I suggest using metal primer on the brass rod.
