HMS Victory Moulding Scribe Tool 1:84 Scale
I have took it upon myself to design a Moulding Scribing tool purely for the 1/84 Scale HMS Victory kit. So that the kit can be enhanced with its opulent moulding details. I have carefully studied all the mouldings around the hull. This stainless steel tool will create mouldings for:
• The Gallery.
• The Hull sides and scrolls.
• The Bow details.
• Also the front beam for the poop deck.

I have numbered each one and will provide simple instructions to help you determine where each moulding is supposed to be on the model.
I have also included the dimensions of each one so you know what size wood to buy.
The way to use it is to first of all select wood stock to match the moulding cutout or larger. I recommend first using a modellers wood plane to take the bulk of the wood away, by gliding the plain over the corner of the wood. Then to add the details, it is as simple as repeatedly gliding the moulding tool across the length of wood. It will gradually crave into the wood a beautiful design of the desired moulding. Ready to be painted and glued to your model.
