This add-on kit is designed to complement the excellent De-Agostini/Model space HMS Victory 1:84. I created this highly detailed set when building my own model as I wanted to vastly improve on the kit parts. I believe the gallery of this ship is possibly the most eye catching and beautiful areas. So I really wanted my model to more closely match the real ship. After showing my model to other modellers building the same ship, I was talked into making this kit available to the public. So here it is for a limited time. I will only stock these for a short time because modelspace have stopped stocking the kit.
DELUXE VERSION This kit has been designed from scratch to better match the window size. The photo etch brass parts offer window frames which would sit perfectly behind the laser cut plywood base. I recommend fixing transparent plastic behind the photo etch frames to simulate glass. Then I have designed and modelled 3D resin parts for the decorative balusters. I used resin because it can print in super high detail. Then I also provide all the decorative trims in resin. The mouldings are FDM printed due to them been longer. The plywood has a vertical grain so that it can be easily bent into position. The windows do not line up to the kits windows as I have corrected the shape and scale of them. So I recommend completely removing the kit gallery parts for the best look. For the decorative scrolls and figures you can still use the kit versions or shapeways versions. Paint and glue required to finish. £80 plus P&P
